What we're targeting, where we stand today, and how to tell us when something doesn't work with the tools you use.

NamahaPDF is built and operated from India, and India's own accessibility framework — the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPwD Act), GIGW 3.0 and IS 17802 — applies to us regardless of where any individual customer is based, the same way accessibility law applies to a company because of where it operates, not only who it sells to.
We want people who use assistive technology — screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, screen magnification — to be able to use our website and our PDF tools. The technical standard we have adopted to work toward that is WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
WCAG 2.1 Level AA is our target standard. This statement describes that target and our current progress toward it. It is not a claim that every page or every tool fully conforms today, and it is not a certification — no third-party “ADA compliance” or similar certification exists for this category of product. Where we fall short of the target, we say so below rather than leave it undisclosed.
We have done substantive, verified work toward this target, including:
What remains is a manual evaluation of the whole product with a real screen reader, and closing the gaps described next.
We would rather disclose a known gap than let someone discover it unannounced:
Some of what is already in place across the product:
Accessibility of NamahaPDF relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and assistive technology you use. These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards we target: HTML, WAI-ARIA, and CSS.
Evaluation against specific assistive technologies and browser combinations is ongoing; we have not yet published a finished compatibility matrix, and will update this section once that work is complete rather than state specifics we have not verified.
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of NamahaPDF. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers:
We try to acknowledge accessibility feedback promptly and respond within a reasonable time.
We will update this statement as our accessibility work progresses and as our understanding of user needs changes. When we make a material change we will update the “last updated” date above.
