No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser using our own engine, so the document never leaves your device. That is unusual for this tool - most PDF-to-Excel converters upload your spreadsheets to a server.
Tables with visible gridlines convert reliably. Borderless tables are detected from column alignment and are flagged in the result so you know which to check. Free-flowing text that only looks tabular is not reliably recoverable.
Because they store it as a number. We do not: a value only becomes a number when it is plainly numeric, so identifiers, part numbers and phone numbers keep their exact shape as text.
A scan contains images of words, not text. Run OCR on it first, then convert.
