The fine print, kept short

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of NamahaPDF. Please read them, by using the Service you agree to them.

Last updated: June 23, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and NamahaPDF (“we”, “us” or “our”) governing your access to and use of our website, applications, SDK and PDF tools (together, the “Service”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

NamahaPDF provides tools to edit, convert, sign, compress, redact and otherwise work with documents. Most processing happens in your browser on your own device. We may add, change or remove features at any time, and we may set reasonable limits on use of the Service.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. Some features require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to process content you have no right to process;
  • upload or create malware, or attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
  • reverse engineer, scrape or misuse the Service except as permitted by law or an applicable licence;
  • infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of others; or
  • circumvent usage limits, security measures or licensing controls.

5. Free tier and usage limits

We offer a free tier with limits on how much you can use certain features within a given period. We may change these limits, introduce paid plans, or meter usage (for example per edit, per file size or per tool). Where a feature is paid, the applicable pricing and plan terms will be presented to you before you are charged.

6. Your content and documents

You retain all rights to the documents and content you use with the Service. Because processing is primarily client-side, we do not claim any ownership of, and generally do not receive, your document content. You are solely responsible for your content and for keeping your own backups. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property and licensing

The Service, including its software, design, branding and documentation, is owned by NamahaPDF and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Use of the NamahaPDF SDK or any distributed package is additionally subject to its applicable licence terms. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, no rights are transferred.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example for sign-in, hosting and analytics) and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that results (such as conversions or OCR) will be perfectly accurate. Always review important output.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NamahaPDF will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold NamahaPDF harmless from any claims, damages or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that may cause harm or legal liability. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and the courts located in India will have jurisdiction over any disputes, unless a mandatory law in your country of residence requires otherwise.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
