Trim page margins to change the visible area
No. Cropping narrows the visible area — the CropBox — that readers and printers show. The content outside it is hidden, not removed, so cropping is lossless and can be undone by widening the box again. If you need the margin content gone for good, redact it instead.
Enter how many millimetres to trim from the top, right, bottom and left. Use the same value on all four for a uniform border, or different values to crop one side. You can also limit the crop to specific pages with a range like 1-3, 7.
In one pass the same margins apply to every page you select. To crop pages by different amounts, run the tool more than once, each time choosing a different page range — cropping composes, so each run trims further.
